Patina Cigars are produced in Granada (Nicaragua) at Casa Favilli, a factory where Mombacho are also produced. As with the Mombacho lines, the master blender is Claudio Sgroi who, for these Patinas, is left inspired by tobaccos not only from Nicaragua. Patina are sold in two lines, the Habano and the Connecticut (click here for more information on the respective types of blend and on the size). Among the four sizes of the Habano line is the Rustic, a Robusto size.
Visually, the Patina Habano Rustic is rolled in a bright Colorado shaded wrapper. It is quite smooth to the touch, with slightly pronounced veins. The filling and the general construction is more than good.

Patina Habano Rustic: fragrances of coffee and honey on the nose, enriched with a floral nuances.
Overall, the Patina Habano Rustic is a cigar that is easy enjoy. The flavor profile is not particularly broad, but the aromas are well outlined and supported by a force that is never invasive. The last tercio, however, suffers from a growing bitterness which, accompanied by a metallic note which is also ingravescent, certainly leaves its mark.
