The Wildfire The Intro was released in 2023 by Wildfire Cigar Co. The name of this cigar is inspired by the three parts of a rock song’s structure—intro, hook, and breakdown—which suggests that two additional releases may follow.
The blend features a Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador, a Honduran Corojo binder, and fillers composed of tobaccos from Pennsylvania as well as the Nicaraguan regions of Estelí and Jalapa.
This limited release consists of only 700 boxes, each containing 10 cigars, and is available in a single size. The production was entrusted to Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A., based in Danlí, Honduras. Each box is divided into two cardboard cases, each containing five cigars.
The cigar features a shiny Colorado wrapper with with yellow highlights. On the back of the second band, there is a musical note, highlighting the concept behind the name “The Intro.” The foot of the cigar is closed. When touched, the wrapper feels smooth, with only slightly perceptible veins. The construction and filling of the cigar are excellent.

Wildfire The Intro: intense notes of nuts are perceptible in the cold draw, followed by notes of wood and earthy nuances.
Overall, the Wildfire The Intro presents an intriguing smoke with a notable strength and intensity of flavor. However, it does lose some points in terms of evolution, as a more varied flavor profile would have been preferable. Additionally, the finish features a bitter note that feels excessively sharp.
