Partagas de Bronce

Partagas de Bronce 1600 900 Michel Arlia

The Partagas de Bronce is a limited collaboration between Partagas and El Titán de Bronze, the legendary factory in Little Havana, Miami, founded by Cuban exile Sandy Cobas. The cigar was blended jointly by STG’s product development manager Justin Andrews and Cobas herself, marking the first time Partagas has partnered with an outside factory.

Production was capped at 5,000 individually numbered boxes of 10, with each box hand-signed by the El Titán de Bronze roller who made the cigars. The blend is an all-Nicaraguan puro built around a Corojo wrapper and a three-leaf filler of Seco Corojo, Viso Dulce, and Ligero Medio Tiempo, aged before release.

The wrapper is of a Colorado color, that is smooth to the touch. Construction is good and the filling uniform.

Partagas de Bronce: the cold draw reveals clean tobacco notes and light spice. Once lit, the cigar opens with cinnamon, cream, and wood, with a subtle sweetness also present.

The first third sees the intensity dial back, with the profile settling into a creamy character. The strength is mild to medium (2/5).

The second third picks back up in intensity, though the profile remains linear. The creaminess continues to anchor the smoke. The strength grows to medium (3/5).

The final third introduces herbal and nutty notes, adding a layer of complexity to round out the smoke. Strength remains at medium (3/5).

Overall, the Partagas de Bronce is a smooth and approachable smoke with a pleasant creamy core. The herbal and nutty finish adds a welcome change to the profile, though the profile remains on the linear side throughout.
