The My Father Blue Robusto is part of the My Father Blue line, the first release from My Father Cigars made entirely in Honduras and the debut of the García family’s estate-grown Honduran tobaccos.
It was launched in July 2025 as a regular production line. The blue packaging pays homage to the colors of the Honduran flag, and the secondary band carries the year 2025 in Roman numerals as MMXXV. The blend pairs a Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper with a Honduran binder and a filler of Corojo and Criollo varietals harvested exclusively from Finca La Opulencia in Honduras.
The wrapper is smooth to the touch, oily, and of a Maduro hue. The filling is generous and uniform.

My Father Blue Robusto: the cold draw reveals undergrowth aromas. Once lit, the opening is peppery, with mineral and leather notes.
Overall, the My Father Blue Robusto is a balanced, complex cigar. The opening is interesting and unusual for the brand in a good way, and the profile is nuanced and complex, with a perceptible evolution. The light dryness at the very end barely dents an otherwise very enjoyable smoke.
