Stolen Throne Cigars has built its reputation on intentional blend development, consistency, and a distinct identity within the boutique cigar market. Its newest line, Castle 919, reflects those priorities while adding a layer of personal significance for the company’s founder, Lee Marsh.
Castle 919 is a regular-production release, produced at the Rojas Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, continuing Stolen Throne’s established manufacturing partnership. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano Claro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Peru. The line is offered in two sizes: a 50 x 127mm (5”) Robusto and a 54 x 127mm (5”) Belicoso. Consistent with the brand’s existing portfolio, both sizes are packaged in 20-count bundles, specifically in purple, a presentation designed to keep pricing accessible.

The name “Castle 919” carries specific personal symbolism for founder Lee Marsh. The “919” reference comes from his childhood address in Baltimore, where he lived with his grandfather, whose passing reached the ten-year mark this year. The castle imagery on the band is modeled after a castle from Essex, England, chosen because Marsh grew up in Baltimore’s Essex neighborhood and wanted the design to reflect that connection. Together, these elements form a visual tribute to his family and early life.
Pricing for both vitolas is under $12, positioning the line competitively within today’s boutique landscape, where production costs and premium tobacco prices continue to rise. The pricing strategy further emphasizes Stolen Throne’s goal of offering regular-rotation cigars that balance quality and affordability.
With Castle 919, Stolen Throne appears focused on strengthening its core lineup rather than emphasizing short-run or limited-edition releases. The line’s blend profile, pricing, and symbolic branding collectively indicate an effort to reinforce long-term portfolio stability and expand the company’s presence in the boutique market segment.
