Rocky Patel’s latest release, the Rocky Patel Emerald, debuted at retailers last week, just before Christmas. Patel describes this three-size line of box-pressed cigars as lighter than usual.
The cigars feature Ecuadorian Habano wrappers with two binders—one from Nicaragua and one from Mexico. The filler is mainly made of Nicaraguan tobacco and one leaf from Jamastran, Honduras.
The Emerald line is distinguished by green-and-white bands, with half wrapped in bright green paper, and comes in boxes of 20. They are made at the Tabacalera Villa Cuba SA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The sizes and prices are:
- Robusto: 50 x 140 mm (5 ½”), $11.75
- Toro: 54 x 165 mm (6 ½”), $12.75
- Sixty: 60 x 152 mm (6″) , $13.75
