Ramón Allones Absolutos Edición Limitada 2024 1600 900 Michel Arlia

The Ramón Allones Absolutos Edición Limitada 2024 is the third and final Habanos limited edition of 2024, following the Trinidad Cabildos and the H. Upmann Magnum Finite. It is only the fourth Edición Limitada in the history of Ramón Allones, one of the oldest Cuban brands still in production, and follows the Allones No. 2 from 2019.

The cigar introduces the Nuevos vitola, a 49 x 156 mm format never before used in the Habanos portfolio. The global launch was held in Switzerland last year.

The cigar is dressed in a Colorado Maduro wrapper with a few veins present and a bit of tooth to the touch. Construction is good and the filling is uniform.

Ramón Allones Absolutos Edición Limitada 2024: the cold draw reveals spices, leather, and molasses. Once lit, the opening is immediately very dark, with espresso, black pepper, and leather.

Nuts and wood are added to the profile in the first third, together with cocoa. The strength is medium-full (4/5).

Creamy nuances join the profile in the second third. The strength remains unchanged (4/5).

The final third confirms the profile and strength of the previous section.

Overall, the Ramón Allones Absolutos Edición Limitada 2024 is a balanced and very flavorful cigar that starts out pedal-to-the-metal. After the first third, the profile becomes a bit linear, but the flavor intensity makes up for it.
