On the first day of the XX Festival del Habano, during the press conference, the new Cuban cigars for 2018 have been unveiled.
The most prestigious release is the Cohiba Robustos Reserva Cosecha 2014. The cigar shares the size with the Cohiba Robusto in regular production: 50 x 127 mm (5″). The difference is in the leaves, because the Reserva editions are exclusively made with three years old tobaccos. 5.000 boxes of Cohiba Robusto Reserva will ben commercialized.
The second news is about the Partagas Maduro line, which grows. Two are the new cigars added: No. 2 Short Piramide (55 x 120mm – 4,7″) and No.3 (50 x 146mm – 5,7″).
Soon a new Romeo y Julieta will hit the marker as well. It is a big one, named Gran churchill Gran Churchill. Size will be 56 x 190mm (7,5). This cigar will be exclusively comercializez in 450 luxurious humidor.
Hoyo de Monterrey will receive a new cigar that will belong to the Le Hoyo line: Le Hoyo Rio Seco. Size will be 56 x 140mm (5,5″).
Also Vegueros will receive a new cigar, following the new trend of the brand. Named Centrofinos, it will be packed in metal tins, containin 16 cigars. Size will be 50 x 140mm (5,5″).

- Bolivar Soberano – 54 x 140mm (5,5″)
- H.Upmann Propios – 46 x 146mm (5,7″)
- Romeo y Julieta Taco – 49 x 169mm (6,6″)
Regarding the La Casa del Habano editions, here are the news: Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos (49 x 178mm – 7″) and San Cristóbal de la Habana Prado (Petit Piramide 50 x 127mm – 5″).
