The Leaf by Oscar Lancero Maduro is one of the most acclimated cigars of the brand. They are sold in 20-count boxes and the man behind the blend is Oscar Valladares, who launched the cigars back in 2015, wrapping them up in a tobacco leaf.
Once the external leaf is removed, the cigars show another band dressing them. The wrapper is of an oily Maduro color, and they are finished with a pigtail. There are some soft spots perceivable, something that it is not uncommon in this size.

The first third alternates cocoa and earth, together with hazelnut and nuances of herbs. There is also a coffee aroma perceivable. The strength is medium-full (4/5).
The middle third confirms the earth and the cocoa, with the latter becoming richer. The cigar now delivers spicy notes as well, mainly recalling nutmeg. The strength doesn’t change (4/5).
The finale third alternates herbs and balsamic notes, together with black pepper and wet earth. The strength increases, becoming close to full (4.5/5) and closing the smoke in a very satisfying way.
Overall, the Leaf by Oscar Lancero Maduro boasts a rich and intense smoke, capable of delivering a nice evolution and a deep flavor profile.
