Hiram & Solomon Unity 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

The Hiram & Solomon Unity is made at the PDR factory in the Dominican Republic and is a cigar created in honor of Gregory J. Scott, the Grand Marshall of Masons for the state of New Jersey. Until a couple of years ago, it was only available in a four-cigar sampler, but it is now available in 20-count boxes.

The cigars are dressed up in a colorado leaf. The wrapper has a slightly rough texture to the touch, while the construction is flawless and generously filled. The band features an attractive holographic design.

Hiram & Solomon Unity: the cold draw delivers hay and cellulose scents. The opening is spicy, with white pepper, wet earth, and some roasted notes.

The cigar opens up with aromas of walnut, earth, and nutty notes, with rich black pepper, and some piquant spices. In the background there is nice vegetal touch. The strength is medium-plus (3.5/5).

The second third adds balsamic notes, recalling anise, with nuances of nutmeg. The strength doesn’t change (3.5/5).

The last third alternates vegetal and balsamic notes, with a nice riot of spices. The strenght is confirmed (3.5/5) and the finale is well-balanced.

Overall, the Hiram & Solomon Unity delivers a rich and balanced smoke, with a structured flavor profile.
