Gilbert de Montsalvat Signature Gordo: the cold draw reveals scents of earth. The opening confirms the earth, together with nutty notes.

The first third delivers aromas of earth, and earth, with the nuttiness still present and mainly recalling hazelnuts. The strength is medium (3/5).

In the middle third, earth, hazelnut and the vegetal notes are confirmed. The flavor profile becomes deeper, due to nuance of spices appearing in the backgorund, with a mix of white pepper, nutmeg and some vanilla. The strength is unchanged (3/5).

The last third proceeds on the same flavor profile, with the spices becomin a little more intense. The strength is confirmed (3/5).

Overall, the Gilbert de Montsalvat Signature Gordo delivers a well-balanced smoke from the first to the last puff. The flavor profile shows a linear evolution, and it is nicely structured, thanks also to the spice dimension, which creates a nice depth.
