German Engineered Cigars announced the RVGN Extrem, a new premium longfiller cigar, as part of the RVGN Rauchvergnügen line in honor of the company’s 10-year anniversary.
Co-founders Jan Klaas Mahler and Oliver Nickels introduced their engineering-focused approach to the cigar industry in March 2016. They first introduced the Rauchvergnügen blend and have since expanded their portfolio to include five regular lines and several limited editions. The company has focused on creating modern, engineered cigars while challenging traditional norms. Oliver Nickels remarks, “RVGN Extrem is part of the answer to our goal.”
The cigar features a Mexican Cuban Seed wrapper, a Dominican Olor binder, and a blend of Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98 filler. It will also include an NFC-enabled band for detailed blend specifications. They are made at the Intercigar factory in the Dominican Republic.
Available as a 54 cm³ Toro (52 x 159mm – 6 ¼”) at an MSRP of US$18, RVGN Extrem’s global availability will be announced soon.
The brand will showcase its latest offerings at PCA 2026 in April.
