Zino Nicaragua Robusto

Zino Nicaragua Robusto

Zino Nicaragua Robusto 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

Zino Nicaragua Robusto is part of the homonymous line of the brand, which has recently revamped the image and the blend. Now the dominant color is a very intense yellow, where a white “Z” stands out.

The line consists of three formats, made in Honduras, all sold in the classic 25-ct slide lid boxes and four-count humidified pouches.

Zino Nicaragua Robusto

Zino Nicaragua Robusto: dry floral aromas are perceived in the cold draw, with hints of wood and coffee.

Zino Nicaragua Robusto

Once lit, the smoke in the mouth is very sapid, enriched by spicy sensations that last the entire first third. It expresses intense dry floral notes and a less evident woody component. The strength is medium-light (2/5).

In the central section, the sapidity remains unchanged while the aromas evolve towards dry floral notes, white pepper, and wood. Strength remains unchanged (2/5).

In the last third, the sapidity fades slightly while a slightly bitter note appears. The dominant aroma of wood remains unchanged while an intense note of cellulose takes over. Strength increases slightly (2.5/5).

Overall, the Zino Nicaragua Robusto returns a very interesting smoke in terms of aromas, which are distributed over a somewhat contained evolution. The relationship between strength and aromas is excellent, with the former never over the top, to the full benefit flavor profile.
