Plasencia Cigars announced the shipping of the new Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon – Colorado Claro to retailers. This cigar is a line extension to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte brand, featuring an innovative Hexagon shape with ten-year aged tobacco. The unique shape imitates the honeycomb, borrowing from nature. This shape provides a more complex smoking expression due to the pressing of the cigar into a hexagon shape. The new shape brought forth a new way to enjoy cigars. A big success, the hexagon-shaped cigar became Plasencia’s number one selling cigar. The Plasencia family felt it was time to create a line extension to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Hexagon. This result is the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon- Colorado Claro.
What sets this blend apart from its predecessor is a slight tweaking of the binder and filler which is housed in an incredibly unique wrapper. The Colorado Claro wrapper, which comes from the vast Plasencia tobacco library, was aged for 10 years. Plasencia Cigars CEO Nestor Andres Plasencia stated: “When we created the hexagon-shaped vitola, we did it with the intent to push the boundaries of cigar making. The Colorado Claro wrapper adds a different dimension to this already unique cigar. We proudly look forward to exposing the public to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon.”
The 6X60 Plasencia Ama Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon comes in a Hexagon shaped 10 count box with an MSRP of $21.00.
