Lyon Cigars Lancero

Lyon Cigars Lancero

Lyon Cigars Lancero 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Lyon Cigars brand was created by the Canadian Patrick Nikiema. Many different sizes are produced, including the this Lancero. The blend has not been fully declared by the manufacturer. Distribution covers the US market and some African countries, while for the European market it is distributed only in Luxembourg. The boxes contain 21 cigars.

Lyon Lancero

The cigar is rolled in a slightly opaque Maduro wrapper. To the touch it is slightly rough with fairly present veins. Construction is good, with a closure “pig tail” finish. The draw appears to be slightly tight.

Lyon Lancero

Lyon Cigars Lancero: unlit, aromas of dried fruit and wood are perceived, enriched by an earthy nuance.

Lyon Lancero

The opening is immediately sapid, while the flavors develop on well-defined notes of wood and spices, but also with nuances of black pepper and cocoa. Strength is medium – light (2/5).

In the central part, the sapidity does not change. Notes of spices and hazelnut, but also of light metal and cellulose components appear. Strength remains unchanged (2/5).

In the last third, the sapid component is enriched with a delicate bitter note. The flavors of wood returns, which joins the spicy (always present) and vegetal notes, while the metal component slightly increases compared to the central part. Strength increases slightly, becoming medium (3/5).

Ultimately, this Lyon Cigars Lancero returns a simple but not trivial smoke. The relationship between the flavors and strength is well balanced. It is only slightly disappointing in the final third, when the bitterness impacts the palate to much.
