Illusione CG:4 White Horse: the cold draw is predominantly earthy. Once lit, it starts out with spicy notes of black pepper. The smoke is very creamy almost immediately.
The first third brings notes of spices (black pepper), nuts (hazelnut) and wood to the palate. There is a hint of herbs, that can be found in the background. Strength is slightly above Medium (3.5/5).
The middle section alternates pepper, earth and cocoa. Very creamy. Wood remains present, although not as pronounced as in the first third. Strength grows, becoming Medium – Full (4/5).
The last third continues on black pepper, earth and cocoa. Still a very creamy smoke. The finish is balanced and satisfying.
The flavor profile is somewhat ample and the cigar is satisfying, with a good evolution and great balance. The creaminess masks the fact that there is a fair amount of strength to this Corona Gorda.
