Artista Midnight and Harvest

Artista Cigars, formerly El Artista Cigars, began shipping the Artista Series Cigars to U.S. Retailers. The Artista Series is Artista Cigars’ flagship brand and represents years of dedication to making blends that represent the company’s new direction. “We are excited to finally deliver Artista to our patient retailer partners; it took us a bit longer than anticipated to get this brand to retailers, but we believe the final product was worth the wait,” states Radhames “Ram” Rodriguez, President of Artista Cigars.

“For the Artista lines, we challenged ourselves to make something different. We spoke with our Factory Team and worked with our Agronomist. We asked them to seek new materials, source often over-looked tobaccos, and asked our best artisans to help us develop something wholly different”, adds Kevin Newman. The Artista Series represents the factory’s premium and future super-premium blends. Each blend is represented by a moniker and matching color. Each is distinct in strength and profile.

Artista Harvest (Yellow-Gold) is a medium-bodied blend featuring a Sumatra wrapper over a Habano Seco binder and a proprietary Dominican filler blend. Artista Midnight (Dark Blue) is a full-bodied cigar. It features a Dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the USA. The new Artista cigar ring with Harvest Yellow / Midnight Blue accents adorns the cigar and references the colors on the cigar box painted to match the band. Artista Harvest & Artista Midnight are offered in boxes of 20 cigars in two sizes each: a 54 x 127 mm (5″) box-pressed Robusto and a 50 x 152 mm (6″) box-pressed Toro 6×50. Artista Harvest & Artista Midnight are line-priced: MSRP per cigar is $10.20 for the Robusto and $10.40 for the Toro.
