Drew Estate has introduced the Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano at the 2026 PCA Trade Show. This new addition reflects the spirit of the Underdog, extending beyond Nicaragua to embrace Dominican tobaccos.
The El Tigre Dominicano features a filler-forward expression with Dominican HVA and C-98 leaves, highlighting their balance and aromatic depth. Topped with a Connecticut Corojo H99 Hybrid binder and an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper.
“El Tigre Dominicano means so much to all of us at Drew Estate,” explains company Founder & President Jonathan Drew Sann. “While handmade in Nicaragua at La Gran Fabrica, El Tigre strikes at the filler-forward core of the Dominican Republic, with layers and layers of complex transitions. Seriously, the El Tigre blend brings Undercrown to a whole new level. It’s a cigar that’s now in my personal daily rotation. Everyone at the office can’t stop smoking them. I’m super curious to see the consumer response to this blend.”
The new line is available in the following sizes:

- Gordo (60 x 152 mm – 6″), $14.50 per cigar
- Robusto (50 x 127 mm – 5″), $12.75 per cigar
- Toro (50 x 152 mm – 6″), $13.00 per cigar
Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano is packaged in 20-ct boxes and is set to ship to retailers in April 2026.
