In the Chinese horoscope 2018 is the year of the dog and Davidoff launches, for the fifth consecutive year, a cigar to celebrate the event: Year Of The Dog.
The chosen size is a Churchill, 50x 178 mm; the tobaccos used for the blend are a Ecuadorian Habano Claro wrapper, Dominican San Vincente Seco binder and four fillers made up of Piloto Seco and Viso, San Vincente Ligero, Seco and Viso from Esteli.
As usual, the packaging is mainly held in red with golden lettering; this colors represent fortune and wealth in China.
Production is limited to 4.500 boxes containing 10 cigars each, with a retail price of $39.
For the collector of the line, there will also be two accessories available:
▪ Punch, made in Germany, from Inox steal with a leather leash ($230)
▪ Travel Humidor, made in Italy; limited to 200 units, that can hold up to 8 cigars and the aforementioned Punch ($350)
