Davidoff Cigars expands its Black Band Collection with the new Davidoff Puro Dominicano, a testament to Dominican mastery and innovation. Launched ten years after the last black band cigar, this line features exclusively well-aged tobaccos from six Dominican terroirs, collectively aged 32 years. It will be available in three formats: Short Robusto (52 x 115mm – 4 ½”), Corona Larga (44 x 149mm – 5 ⅞”), and Perfecto (50 x 140mm – 5 ½”).
The Davidoff Black Band Collection is known for its various blends crafted with tobaccos from the world’s most renowned growing regions. The Puro Dominicano is supposed to exemplify this with a flavor journey that is both deeply Dominican and unmistakably Davidoff.

“With Puro Dominicano, we are strengthening the foundation of our Black Band Collection by highlighting the Dominican Republic’s exceptional tobacco heritage. This line reflects our commitment to innovation within our core competencies and our continued pursuit of excellence in craftsmanship”, says Javier González, SVP Head Global Marketing & Innovation at Oettinger Davidoff. “But above all, Puro Dominicano offers our consumers an experience that is both deeply Dominican and unmistakably Davidoff.”
The Corona Larga format, with its 44 ring gauge (1.8cm diameter) symbolizing the Dominican Republic’s independence in 1844, is unique within the brand’s portfolio. The same goes for the Perfecto format, which showcases the rollers’ skill.

Presented in a black wooden cabinet box or a pack of five, the cigars feature a striking amber-inspired design that emphasizes Davidoff’s commitment to sustainable packaging. The Davidoff Puro Dominicano will launch on April 23, 2026, at select merchants and flagship stores, with previews available at the Premium Cigar Association trade show from April 17-20, 2026.
