Concealed Carry has announced the launch of its second edition, centered around the Cuban Embargo. Opening with “Fidel,” the series draws on the historical backdrop of 1962 to tell a story that will unfold across six successive releases.
Each installment opens a different file, examining a figure, event, or archival theme connected to the era. Together, the releases form a broader narrative around the U.S. trade embargo on Cuba and its lasting influence on the cigar industry.
“Concealed Carry was created to remove preconceptions and let the tobacco tell a story of intrigue and craftsmanship. With ‘The Cuban Embargo theme’, we are pulling back the curtain on a historical moment that forever reshaped our industry. ‘Fidel’ is just the beginning of a six-part journey that will take collectors deep into the secret history of 1962,” said Omar de Frias, Creator of Concealed Carry, in a press release.
The collection will be available exclusively at 35 authorized Fratello retailers nationwide, with shipping beginning in October 2026. Concealed Carry intentionally keeps the specifics about production, including factory locations and blend components, undisclosed to emphasize the smoking experience.
