Casa Carrillo announces the release of Battleborn Warriors, a Veterans Day Limited Edition cigar honoring America’s heroes. Inspired by Lionel H. McKoy, a decorated U.S. Navy veteran and long-time Casa Carrillo member, *Battleborn* reflects his two decades of service, including deployments on the USS Midway, USS Forrestal, and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III shared, “Lionel is part of our family. His story moved me deeply, and in that moment, *Battleborn* was conceived.” Lionel commented, “To see a cigar honoring my journey means more than words can express.”
The 56 x 152 mm (6″) Battleborn Warriors features a USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican and Nicaraguan binders, and aged Nicaraguan fillers, offering Limited to 2,500 numbered boxes of 20, each of which will include a collectible Battleborn logo dog tag.
To extend the tribute, Casa Carrillo will host Battleborn events nationwide, donating proceeds to charities for veterans and first responders. Lissette Perez-Carrillo stated, “Battleborn serves to honor veterans like Lionel and supports organizations that make a difference.” Ernesto added, “This blend carries special meaning — it’s about respect rolled into every leaf.”
With a suggested retail price of $22 per cigar, *Battleborn Warriors* will begin shipping in mid-October.
