Casa Carrillo introduces a new 5 1/4 x 52 Robusto size to the Pledge Purple line. Pledge Purple, created to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the Pledge line, features a Havana-seed Connecticut wrapper that has been aged for nearly a decade and was sourced from Dunn & Foster in the Connecticut River Valley. The rest of the blend includes a Mexican binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí, Condega, and Ometepe.
Packaged in 10-ct boxes, the Robusto is priced at $16.50 per cigar, while the original Toro remains available at $18 each. Both sizes are produced in limited quantities, with boxes released throughout the year. The first batch of Pledge Purple Robusto will begin shipping to select retailers this month.
