La Aurora USA announces the release of La Aurora Preferidos Hors d’Age 2025 LE and Puro Vintage 2016. This year, Hors d’Age will be available in a new Lancero format, alongside the traditional Toro.

Featuring a Sumatra wrapper and long-filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Nicaragua, Hors d’Age represents 12 years of aging. Manuel Inoa, La Aurora Master Blender, emphasizes the significance of the name “Hors d’Age,” which denotes exceptional quality developed through time.

The Toro measures 5 3/4 x 54, while the Lancero is 6 7/8 x 40, both packaged in 15-count boxes. Only 700 boxes of Toro and 500 boxes of Lancero will be released in the U.S. The MSRP is $472.50 for the Toro and $375.00 for the Lancero.

Returning for its annual release, Puro Vintage 2016 is crafted from tobaccos sourced globally, showcasing the influence of different terroirs. This year’s blend features aged filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Nicaragua, under a Brazilian binder and rolled in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

It will come in a Salomon format (6 1/2 x 50/60), with only 700 boxes produced worldwide. Each box contains eight cigars and carries an MSRP of $224 per box.

Both releases are set to ship to U.S. retailers in late October.
