The Trinidad Vigia, a cigar that first appeared in 2014, will soon have a Reserva version released later this year.
The tobacco for the Trinidad Vigia Reserva comes from the Cosecha (Spanish for harvest) 2022, which is how it gets its name. Like the standard version, it will be a Petit Robusto measuring 54 x 110 mm (4 3/8″). However, it will feature a distinctive black and silver secondary band indicating its status as a Reserva release. Additionally, the boxes for Reserva releases have a black lacquer finish, making them more upscale than the standard boxes.
The cigars are set to debut at an event on September 19 at the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace hotel in Geneva, Switzerland. Intertabak AG, the distributor of Habanos S.A. products in Switzerland, is hosting this event. Details regarding when the cigars will be available to retailers and consumers, as well as their pricing, have not yet been announced.
