The Crux du Connoisseur No. 4 is part of the du Connoisseur line from Crux Cigars, founded in 2014 by brothers Jeff and Casey Haugen in Minnesota.
The du Connoisseur was first introduced in 2015, and the No. 4 was added in 2021 as a wider, shorter expression of the blend in a Corona Gorda vitola.
The cigar is dressed in an oily Colorado Maduro wrapper that is smooth to the touch. Construction is solid, featuring a generous and well-packed filling.

Crux du Connoisseur No. 4: the cold draw reveals barnyard scents. Once lit, the cigar opens with nutty and earthy notes.
Overall, the Crux du Connoisseur No. 4 is a well-balanced cigar with an enjoyable, albeit limited, flavor profile. While complexity is moderate, the flavors remain harmonious for the majority of the smoke.
