Sans Pareil released a limited quantity of its Purple line in a 6 x 52 toro in late 2023, which has not regularly been available for sale. David Swinburne, the company’s CEO, discovered these cigars, rolled in 2018, during an inventory review.

That will change next month, and for the first time, the Sans Pareil Purple Toro will be sold in boxes. The Ariston, a Nashville cigar bar, has received 300 boxes of 10 cigars from the original production run, priced at $38.49 each, with a box discount bringing the total to $327.17. The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers, and is made at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic.

A launch event is scheduled for June 4 at The Ariston. Paul Pearse, owner of The Ariston, noted that this exclusive size offers a refined experience and aligns with their goal of raising quality standards in the industry. While more Purple Toros may be ordered, Swinburne mentioned they won’t be regularly available to retailers nationwide.
