Altadis U.S.A. announces the release of the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edición Doble Diamante Red, the second in the Doble Diamante series. Inspired by the rarity of a red diamond, this cigar features rare Nicaraguan tobaccos from A.J. Fernandez’s reserve.
Building on the success of its predecessor, the Doble Diamante Red combines innovation with traditional craftsmanship, showcasing Nicaraguan tobaccos from Fernandez’s Finca la Lilia and San Lotano farms.

Carefully graded for quality, the Doble Diamante Red ensures a perfect draw and burn. It showcases Nicaraguan tobaccos from Fernandez’s Finca la Lilia and San Lotano farms. It features a small-batch Nicaraguan wrapper, extra fermented Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan filler. The cigar is presented in a luxurious 20-count cedar humidor, limited to 250 humidors.
The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edición Doble Diamante Red was unveiled at the PCA trade show in New Orleans on April 17, 2026, and will be available for shipping to retailers that same day.
