The Partagás Línea Maestra, according to Habanos, is the first line in the company’s history to be made with 100% San Luis tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo plantations in Pinar del Río. The vitola is known in the Cuban factories as Deleites.
All cigars of this new line feature a ‘Marble Head” finish and an elegant blue presentation. It comes in three sizes: Maestro, Origen, and Rito. They are sold in luxury boîte nature boxes containing 20 cigars.
The wrapper is smooth to the touch and of a Colorado hue. There are only a few small veins present. Construction is perfect, as evidenced by the perfectly finished marble head and a generous filling.

Partagás Línea Maestra Maestro: the cold draw brings vegetal and woody notes to the palate. Once lit, the cigar starts out with evident hazelnut and leather aromas.
Overall, the Partagás Línea Maestra Maestro is a balanced smoke. While it starts out quite intense in terms of flavors, the intensity drops in the second third and doesn’t return to what it was at the beginning, making for a rather monotonous experience.
