Built as Robert Caldwell’s ideal smoke for travel, The Layover is a 54 x 108mm (4 ¼”) box-pressed cigar that is supposed to capture the flavor and feel of a full-sized cigar but in a short format.
“I’m always traveling, but don’t like the majority of smaller cigars on the market. I love our Manzanitas, but sometimes I want the handfeel of a full-size cigar. The Layover is something I built for myself: a big-cigar experience in a short-time format. It smokes way bigger than it is,” says Robert Caldwell.
Handcrafted at Tabacalera William Ventura (TWV) in the Dominican Republic, The Layover features a Dominican Negrito Añejo wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.
Only 3,000 cigars (150 boxes) were produced for this first run. Each box contains 20 cigars, with an MSRP of $252.00 per box.
