Casa Carrillo La Historia Silk

Casa Carrillo introduces La Historia Silk, a new addition to the Perez-Carrillo legacy, developed through conversations with women in the cigar industry. Crafted as a 52 x 152mm (6″) Toro, Silk is suitable for both seasoned aficionados and newcomers.

This release showcases the new Casa Carrillo branding on its packaging, representing the family’s evolution. Silk features an Ecuador Habano wrapper that has been aged for over 18 months, a Nicaraguan Estelí binder, and a distinctive filler blend. This blend features tobaccos from Nicaragua’s Estelí, Philadelphia Broadleaf, Dominican Republic’s La Canela, and Mexico’s San Andrés. Additionally, it is enhanced by the addition of a rare Pelo de Oro from the Dominican Republic.

Produced in limited runs, La Historia Silk will ship to select retailers and international partners. “Silk reflects the stories and insights of women in our industry,” said Co-Owner Lissette Perez-Carrillo, emphasizing its significance as a symbol of the family’s future.

With only 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars produced, La Historia Silk will start shipping next week at a suggested retail price of $16.50 per cigar.
