Pospiech, Inc., the parent company behind the Powstanie brand, announces a slight upgrade to its packaging and a re-release of The Shepherd, the company’s 2022 limited-edition cigar.
Originally introduced as part of Pospiech’s series of one-off projects with undisclosed blends, this cigar is now returning with refreshed packaging, once again highlighting the company’s focus on unique smoking experiences over technical details.
Crafted in collaboration with Matt Booth of Room101, The Shepherd will be offered exclusively in a 50 x 146mm (5 ¾”) Robusto Extra size. As with the original release, the exact blend remains intentionally mysterious.
“Mr. Booth and I both added our signatures to the bands. Because if you believe in it, you should put your name on it,” said Mike Szczepankewicz, co-owner of Pospiech, Inc.
The cigar’s band also features the inscription Ezekiel 25:17: “I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I take vengeance on them.”
The re-release of The Shepherd is now shipping to authorized retailers. Only 100 bundles have been found, and they carry an MSRP of $15 per cigar.
