Plasencia Cigars announces that the first-ever high-elevation cigar, the Alma del Cielo, is now shipping! Alma del Cielo, meaning “Soul from the Sky,” was unveiled via a grand event at the Plasencia Cigars booth at the 2025 PCA in New Orleans. Guests enjoyed champagne and a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist October London.
The grand unveiling of the Alma del Cielo was the highlight of Plasencia Cigars’ participation at the 2025 PCA annual event. This release continues the family’s legacy of creating blends that reflect their dedication to farming practices that elevate the nurture of the soil and celebrate their rich, unique flavors. Nestor Plasencia captivated the audience with an emotional speech, vividly sharing the cherished family story behind the Alma del Cielo blend.

The Alma del Cielo captures the essence of tobacco grown at Finca San Julian in Condega, situated over 3500 feet above sea level. This cigar is a tale of family, love, passion, and destiny.
