The Partagás Legados Edición Limitada 2020 comes in a Grand Corona size, with the factory name Hermosos No. 2. This size has so far been used only for special releases from Habanos.
First introduced with the Romeo y Julieta Hermosos No. 2, then followed by two regional editions (Juan Lopez Maximos for Switzerland and a Bolivar Emperador for Russia), the Quai d’Orsay Senadores, and lastly this Partagás. The cigars are sold in luxury boîte-nature boxes containing 25 cigars.
Construction is excellent. The cigar features an oily Colorado Maduro wrapper with a few small veins. The filling is firm with no soft spots.

Partagás Legados Edición Limitada 2020: flavors of cedar and hay in the cold draw, supported by a light underlying spice. Once lit, it opens with immediate intensity. Cocoa, leather, and black pepper come forward quickly, with the pepper providing a sharp but controlled edge.
In the first third, black pepper remains the leading note, joined by cocoa, wood, and earth. A subtle chili-like heat develops on the palate. Strength is a solid medium-full (4/5).
The second third improves in balance. While pepper remains present, it integrates more smoothly with the wood and earth notes. Cocoa becomes slightly darker and richer. Through the retrohale, leather and cinnamon emerge. The strength dips to a medium level (3/5).
In the final third, the spice profile picks back up as strength increases. Black pepper and chili regain prominence, supported by deeper earthy tones and lingering cocoa. The strength returns to medium-full (4/5).
