Montecristo continues its legacy with the Montecristo 90th Anniversary cigar, now an annual limited-edition release. Originally launched to commemorate the brand’s milestone, its popularity among collectors led to its ongoing availability.
Developed by Rafael Nodal in collaboration with the Plasencia family, this cigar blends Cuban heritage with Nicaraguan craftsmanship. It features an all-Nicaraguan blend of tobaccos from Jalapa, Condega, Estelí, and Ometepe.

“Due to popular demand, we knew the 90th Anniversary cigar had to continue,” said Gabe Diaz, Brand Manager. Each year’s small batch will add to its exclusivity.
There are two formats available: Nacional (56 x 140mm – 5 ½) and No. 2 (52 x 156mm – 6 ⅛), with MSRPs of $38.75 for the Nacional and $40 for the No. 2.
