In 2013, to celebrate Joya de Nicaragua’s 45th anniversary, the Cuatro Cinco Edición Limitada was introduced, featuring 100% Nicaraguan fillers, including five-year-aged ligeros aged in whiskey-rum casks.
Now, over a decade later, Joya presents Cuatro Cinco Secret Cask. A tribute to their milestones, this new release is made with extra-aged tobaccos from a special cask hidden within their factory. Juan Ignacio Martínez describes it as a “sanctuary” where selected leaves develop unparalleled richness.
With only 1,500 boxes produced, 700 for the U.S. and 800 for the rest of the world, this release mirrors the original blend and is presented in the same elegant 54 x 152mm (6”) format. Each box contains a mini-casket replicating the aging process, rolled by Joya’s most skilled torcedores.
