From the historic date “1888” – the year VILLIGER was founded – the first handmade cigar from VILLIGER was created: the VILLIGER 1888. This is followed by the newest family member: VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua.
The VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua is the first regular production line out of their own state-of-the-art handmade cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The factory opened late last year. The blend is made up of an Ecuadorian wrapper, over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan (Condega Ligero, Jalapa Seco and Viso) and US (Pennsylvania) filler tobaccos.
Three are the sizes that make up the line:
- Coronita, 43 x 133 mm (5 1/4″) – €7.00 per cigar
- Robusto, 52 x 127 mm (5″) – €8.60 per cigar
- Toro, 50 x 152 mm (6″) – €9.00 per cigar
All sizes are sold in an elegant dark blue 20-count cabinet boxes.
