The ninth installment of the AVO Improvisation Limited Edition for 2021 is now available at USA cigar retailers. The Improvisation series started by taking a current AVO blend and putting a spin on it. This was an annual celebratory cigar series originally made for the late cigar icon, Avo Uvezian. Avo himself was a jazz musician, and the cigar is much like how Jazz music has additional notes and customization to the original recorded song. Davidoff Cigars has kept the line going, even with the great Avo no longer with the cigar world. This year’s release comes right at the time that Avo would have been turning 95 years old.
The AVO Improvisation LE21 cigar is a 50 x 191mm (7.5″) Double Corona. The cigar uses an Ecuadoran wrapper and binder, with filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. The cigars are packaged in Copper highlighted limited edition 20-ct boxes. Cigars have an MSRP of $16 per stick. Production totals will be 2,500 boxes for the USA market, with another 2,050 boxes coming to the European market, scheduled for May 2021.
