The Tatuaje RC (which stands for Retro Cuban) Series is made up of three sizes and is exclusively sold outside of the US. They are sold in 10 count boxes.

The wrapper is smooth to the touch and the wrapper is of a Colorado shade. Construction is excellent and the cigars are finished with a pig tail.
Tatuaje RC Series No.1: the cold draw brings notes of earth, black pepper and a hint of herbs to the palate. The opening, on the other hand, starts with intense notes walnut.
The first third reveals vegetal notes, spices and a suave and pleasant bitter flavor. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).
In the second third, the smoke turns to notes of coffee beans. Earth is also present and some wood can also be perceived in the background. Strength grows to medium-full (4/5).
The last third sees the addition of balsamic herbs, mint in particular. Strength remains constant.
Overall, the Tatuaje RC Series No.1 develops a good intensity in flavors. It is well structured, but the balance is not among the best.
