After removing the aluminum sheet, the RC 233 is wrapped in a brightColorado Maduro shadded wrapper. It is quite smooth to the touch, with slightly hinted veins. The general construction and filling, even considering the size, are excellent. The draw appears to be slightly tight.

Tatuaje RC 233: aromas of cocoa (very pronounced), spices (of medium intensity) and nuances reminiscent of wood and earth on the nose.
The start is very, very slow, thanks to the size and the slightly tight draw. After several minutes of smoking, the cigar is slightly sweet but also sapid. The flavor profile is dominated by pronounced earthy notes, followed by woody and spicy components. Strength is medium – light (2/5).
As the smoke progresses, the cigar settles on a marked sapidity. The aromas evolve and restructure: the earth is less pronounced. Then, wood with a strong note of walnut and a nuance of cocoa stand out. Strength increases, becoming medium (3/5).
The last third is a very long continuation of the previous third, dominated by powerful walnut and wood characters, with a slight nuance of coffee. Strength becomes medium – full (4/5).
Overall, the Tatuaje RC 233, however perfect, is a monotonous smoke. The flavors, although not exaggerated in number, manage to keep the interest of the aficionado alive, in particular between the first and the second third. From the second third onwards, however, the cigar hinges on two aromas (wood and walnut) and, after more than two hours, take the smoker slowly towards the end of the cigar. Between the two double figures of the RC series, we preferred the shorter one.
