Aesthetically the cigars presents a Colorado shade wrapper, rough to the touch. The capas used to wrap these cigars are often not free from defects, showcasing not the best attention to quality.

Sancho Panza Belicoso: the cold draw is earthy and nutty (hazelnut). It starts out with roasted notes and hazelnut.

The first third reveals wood, vegetable notes and spice. The strength is a little under the medium level (2,5/5).

The second continues on the woody notes, that are now closer to seasoned wood, followed by a rich earthy aroma.  (3/5).

In the last third the wood becomes weaker and disappears slowly, giving way to the earth (now in the foreground) followed by pepper and peaks of chili, that are more present the closer you get to the finale. The last couple puffs develop notes of balsamic herbs. The strength doens’t change.

Overall a rustic smoke, but featuring a good aromatic intensity. The aromatic palette is true to the Sancho Panza brand.
