The Ramon Allones Noellas Edicion Regional Italia is the edition of Habanos S.A. and Diadema S.p.A. designed exclusively for the Italian market to celebrate the national distributor’s 20 years of activity. For the occasion, a glass jar packaging was designed, similar to that of the H. Upmann Noella.
The release was expected for 2020, but the actual delivery only started in September 2022 and minimal quantities, despite the 4500 jars expected.
Although the vitola de salida “Noellas” is common to that of the H. Upmann brand, these are two different vitolas de galera because the Ramon Allones Noellas is an Eminentes, same ring gauge but with three millimeters less than the H. Upmann.
The cigar is dressed in a shiny Colorado wrapper with brown reflections. It is smooth to the touch, with only a few small veins present. Some cigars are underfilled in the head. Filling is uniform, and construction is good.
The two bands that adorn the product are quite unique. The first one, that of the brand, in addition to bearing the vitola de salida, recalls the band used between 1960 and 1972, already used in other limited and commemorative editions. The second, in addition to reflecting the ‘Regional Edition, marks the 20th anniversary of the Italian importer.

Ramon Allones Noellas Edicion Regional Italia: aromas of wood and cocoa are perceived in the cold draw, both of good intensity and enriched with nuances of camphor.
Overall, the Ramon Allones Noellas offers an interesting smoke with a well-defined flavor profile (especially in the first tercio). Despite being rather pronounced, the strength remains manageable and does not overwhelm the flavors. It lacks slightly in evolution and balance that becomes a little rough starting halfway through the cigar, all elements that suggest a fresh cigar (smokable, but fresh) that needs a few years of refinement before it can show its true colors.
