TASTING NOTES Puni Sole Batch 01

Nose: underlining the spicy component, initially overhelming. White and green pepper, cinnamon, saffron, but also rosemary. The components are well balanced: if on the one hand we can find yellow fruits and vanilla, on the other hand we have warmer notes of red fruits, apple and cherry are evident. The nose is quite complex and varied.

Palate: also here the two components of the aging process come together well. An interesting vanilla sweetness blends with red fruits, plum and black cherry. Spices emerge after a few moments: black pepper, cardamom, saffron and cinnamon. Optimal gradation.

Finish: medium, but intense. Black pepper, wood, spices, wild red fruits, tobacco.

so far the best Puni tasted, the marriage between the two barrels works well and gives excellent results. The spices are excellent and always evolving, the complexity is good, excellent gradation. We just have to wait and see how it develops in the future.
