Puni Alba

At the moment, Puni is the only Italian whisky distillery. The bottle in question is called Alba, a 3 year old product, previously aged in ex-Marsala barrels and then finished in barrels from Islay.

Tasting Notes PUNI ALBA 

Nose: initially an evident alcoholic note, which disappears after a few moments. It releases white and yellow fruits, including melons, peach and some citrus (lemon and cedar). After a few minutes, rich spicy notes of white pepper appear.

Palate: round and never aggressive. Spicy notes of black pepper and green pepper emerge. Yellow fruits, banana, melon and pear complete the flavor profile.

Finish: of medium-long persistence. It reveals smokey notes, black pepper, yellow fruits and spices.

The product is already mature and interesting. You have to pay attention to be able to capture all the nuances.
