The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Hexágono is the Gordo size of the Alma Fuerte line produced by Plasencia, in Nicaragua. It is a Nicaraguan puro and everything about it is made by Plasencia, from the cultivation of the leaves, passing through their processing up to the production of the cigar. The whole production chain is controlled in order to guarantee the highest quality.
The “Alma” lines have a removable ashtray, which lays, upside down, on the box.
Aesthetically, it is rolled in a dark Maduro colored wrapper. However, what is more eye-catching, in addition to the excellent construction, is the hexagonal shape of this cigar.

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Hexágono: the cold draw reveals a mix of earth, cocoa and black pepper. The first puffs confirm the spices, where black pepper is the undisputed protagonist.
In the first third the spicy component remains well present, while earthy notes and vegetal nuances slowly emerge. Strength is medium – full (4/5) and the flavor intensity is pronounced.
In the second third, black pepper and earth are confirmed, alternating well with each other. A woody resin aroma is also perceptible now. Strength grows, moving towards a full body (4.5/5).
In the final third, the flavor profile stays the same. The intensity remains at the highest level and the strength grows once again, reaching the maximum level (5/5). The finish is earthy, with balsamic nuances. A very satisfying finish.
Overall, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Hexágono releases an exceptionally flavorful smoke. It is very satisfying and has a particularly long finish. The only aspect that could be criticed is that the flavor profile is not among the broades, but the intensity and richness of each individual puff doesn’t make this a big issue.
