Originally announced back in August by brand owner Pete Johnson, the three new sizes of the L’Atelier Selection Spéciale line should be shipping soon. Even with a reduction of the L’Atleier and Tatuaje portfolio, Johnson is giving the cigar world something new. The Special Selection additions are based off the original L’Atelier core sizes but get a Sancti Spiritus wrapper. Besides the wrapper, the bands will also be different for this release.
The three new sizes to the Special Selection series are known as the LAT52 Selection Spéciale, LAT54 Selection Spéciale, and LAT56 Selection Spéciale. The LAT52 SS measures in at 52 x 121 mm (4.75″) ring gauge. The LAT54 SS is a 54 x 143 mm (5.625″) ring gauge. Last, the LAT56 SS comes in at 56 x 165 mm (6.5″) ring gauge cigar. All the additions have the Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper, with binder and filler from Nicaragua. All cigars are produced at the My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The new L’Atelier Selection Spéciale will have a $8 (AT52SS), $9 (LAT54SS), and $10 (LAT56SS) MSRP. Check your cigar retailers mid to late November 2020 for this release.
