Initially announced in 2021, the newest addition to the Montecristo Edmundo family, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo, is coming to Switzerland.
The Wide Edmundo is a regular production addition to the Montecristo line, and it was first presented in Spain and is now reaching the Swiss market. The Montecristo Wide Edmundo is a new vitola that Habanos S.A. is calling the “Duke No. 3″ and measures 54 x 125 mm (4 9/10”). This is the first time that Habanos S.A. has used this size.
Montecristo Wide Edmundo (Edmundo Line) has been blended with wrapper leaves, filler, and binder tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo* area, in the Pinar del Río region in Cuba. This cigar will be sold in boxes of 25 and 10-count boxes starting on the 21st of February at Swiss Casa del Habano and on the 28th of February at Swiss Habanos Specialist. The retail price is 24.80 CHF per single cigar.
