My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty

My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty

My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty 800 450 Luca Cominelli

My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty is a cigar produced in Honduras, at the Oscar Valladares factory. It is a Gordo size. The cigar comes from the idea of the master blender Bayron Duarte and the peculiarity lies in the wrapper leaf, which is rolled upside down, thus revealing the veins of the tobacco. All this can be noticed right away and the cigar looks rather rustic.

Country of Origin: Honduras
Size: 60 x 152 mm (6“)
Wrapper: Mexico
Binder: Honduras
Filler: Honduras, Nicaragua
Price: $9.50

Aesthetically, the cigar appears to be rolled in a Colorado Claro shaded wrapper. As anticipated, the veins are particularly pronounced.

My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty: the cold draw reveals toasted hints of coffee. The opening brings notes of nuts, hazelnut in particular, to the palate.

The first third alternates hazelnut and almond, followed by cedar wood and black pepper. Vanilla nuances are also perceptible. The intensity is not particularly pronounced. Strength is light (2/5).

In the second third, the cigar turns on cellulose and almond. There are also some sweet notes present in the aftertaste. Strength grows slightly (2.5/5).

There are no major changes in the final third and the flavor profile of the cigar remains virtually unchanged, as does the strength.

Overall, the My Way by Bayron Duarte Sixty releases a smoke with a rather contained flavor intensity. In the first third the profile is good, but getting further into the smoke, the aromas decrease in number. They remain constant, and considering the size of the cigar and the smoking time, all this makes this Gordo too static and sometimes monotonous. The cigar is however well balanced.
