Montecristo Wide Edmundo

Montecristo Wide Edmundo: vegetal and grassy aromas are perceived in the cold draw. Once lit, it opens with marked nutty and leathery notes.

Montecristo Wide Edmundo

The leather and nutty aromas, mainly hazelnut, carry into the first third, where wood and sour cream are added. Strength is medium-light (2/5).

A light pepper note appears in the second third and joins the hazelnut, wood, and leather profile. Strength remains unchanged.

Nuts, wood, and leather remain the primary flavors in the last third as well. A balsamic nuance is added toward the end, and the strength does not change.

Overall, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo is a balanced cigar, and the flavor profile aligns with the brand. This does not apply to the strength you’d expect from a Montecristo; it is surprisingly light. While it is a pretty approachable cigar, the evolution is linear, and the smoke lacks in body.
