Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda

Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda

Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda 800 450 Luca Cominelli

Introduced in mid-2018, the Leyenda is the cigar with the largest ring gauge of the new 1935 line of Montecristo (click here for all information). The generous size is called “Maravillas No.2”.

 width=

• Country of Origin: Cuba
• Size: 55 x 165 mm (6,5″)
• Wrapper: Cuba
• Binder: Cuba
• Filler: Cuba
• Price: €22.-

The cigar looks opulent, dressed up in a silky Colorado shaded wrapper. The construction shows no gaps. As if this were not enough, to give further elegance to the cigar and at the same time provide greater protection, even the foot is shows an additional “band”, with the symbol of the brand.

 width=

Montecristo Linea 1935 Leyenda: unlit hints of cedar wood. The opening is vegetal and slightly acidic.

The first third releases soft aromas of wood and earth. The intensity is rather contained. Strength is light (2/5).

 width=

suave toasted aroma also becomes perceptible. The cigar continues to be not very incisive in terms of flavor intensity. Strength remains constant.

The last third presents no change. Only the strength slightly increases (2.5/5).

nleashes a  simple and balanced smoke, but nothing more. The Leyenda confirms the trend that large ring gauges are not exactly favorable for Cuban cigars.
